The iPod Integration adapter SLi and SL2i allows direct audio input to your factory Lexus and Toyota head unit with direct Apple® iPod™ control via the existing hifi and steering wheel buttons. The range we offer are suitable for most Toyota and Lexus vehicles from 2001 onwards. Cars such as the Lexus SC430, Lexus RX300, Lexus RX400, Lexus GS430, Lexus IS300, Lexus LS430, and Toyota Landcruiser. No more do you have to rely on poor quality audio from FM audio modulators, or misplacing your iTrip - both of which rely on a clear FM radio channel (hard to find in the City) to gain some form of decent audio quality.

The SL Adaptors have one audio input dedicated to integrate your Apple® iPod™ (3G/4G/mini/Photo,Nano and Video on the Sl2Vi) directly into Toyota/Lexus OEM audio system (controlled source). AUX in function on the SLi works with certain vehicles that have a 'scan' button.

You can now listen and control your iPod™ through the vehicle's head unit and audio steering wheel controls. No more Cassette Adaptors, FM Transmitters, or Cigarette Lighter Chargers. Enjoy the clear, genuine high quality sound through your factory audio system.

The iPod Integration adapter provide high quality audio, direct Plug-and-Play connection to Toyota/Lexus OEM audio system, and supports vehicles with and without Navigation system. Control via the existing head until allows easy music playlist and track selection just like the standard CD operation.

The unique technology employed allows you to keep all factory installed components (such as 6-disc CD changer, CD/DVD changer). When you connect the SL adapter to the audio system, Toyota/Lexus recognizes the SL as an additional CD or MD changer.

The SL adaptor can be set-up in CD changer emulation mode or MD changer emulation mode. We suggest to use MD changer mode ONLY if your Radio supports MiniDisc changer with MD-TEXT. Playlist Title, Song Title, Artist Name and Album name information can be displayed on the Radio LCD or Navigation screen ONLY if Radio Receiver supports MD changer with MD-Text or CD changer with CD-Text.

Audio input dedicated for Apple® iPod™ can only be used for iPod™ integration. Control of iPod™ is acheived normally through your existing head unit or the steering wheel controls.
To switch between the SLIsources you need to use "DISC" or "CD" button on the head unit (Diagram below assumes factory CD changer is present).

SL2Vi Audio & Video integration

The SL2Vi allows you listen to your music and watch iPod videos too. Control is through your head unit and steering wheel controls with full text display.

If your vehicle is equipped with a factory steering wheel control you will be able to switch between the SLI sources using "MODE" button on the steering wheel. Diagram shows the SLi adaptor. AUX input only available in the Sli subject to vehicle hifi specifications.
