This Premium Plus UK GPS Satellite Navigation conversion to the Japanese Import Nissan Fair Lady 350 Z, provides high quality GB and European Mapping display on the existing Nissan JDM GPS Screen. Operating via remote control, this upgrade features DVD route guidance and GPS coverage throughout Europe with TMC (Traffic Message Channel) coverage. TMC functionality provides real-time notification to the driver of traffic congestion on the chosen journey. Full 7 digit Postcode entry search and POI (Points of Interest) are some of the features. The Nissan GPS display is used for full Satellite Navigation display. The UK upgrade involves replacements to the Japanese Satellite Navigation Hardware, therefore the original interior and original HIFI remains the same. The OEM Satellite Navigation Screen is not modified or replaced in this conversion.
     
Built-in Satellite Navigation is easy to use, and easy to follow. When specifying your destination, you can enter your chosen destination from memory, post code, Telephone number, address or last destination history to quickly narrow down your choice. Other options include POI search, Congestion charge zones, automatic intersection zoom display, "Nearest POI Search" for points of interest around a particular location including your destination, and much more. GPS Satellite Navigation supports everything from your trip preparation to what you'll do after you arrive. UK Satellite Navigation conversion to the existing Nissan 350 Z Satellite Navigation screen is achieved by fitting new GPS computer hardware located out-of-sight, working in parallel with the exiting Nissan OEM screen. GPS Navigation is displayed in English. UK Satellite Navigation conversions to Japanese Imports (JDM) do not modify existing Hifi operation to English or alter the Radio display to English.

Satellite Navigation Hardware fitted normally exceeds operational reliability of portable units due to the use of vehicle speed sensing to 'marry up' mapping display when in built-up areas or tunnels, this can be vital in a busy town or city where GPS receiver signals could be poor - rendering the portable user with incorrect guidance information. The use of fast acting gyroscopes helps to ascertain position at junction intersections and roundabouts. Auto power-up operation means that the GPS computer can 'lock' the available positioning satellites immediately the ignition is turned-on.
