UK Satellite Navigation conversion to the existing Toyota Estima Satellite Navigation screen is achieved by fitting new GPS computer hardware located out-of-sight, working in parallel with the exiting Toyota OEM screen. UK Satellite Navigation conversions to Japanese Imports (JDM) do not modify existing Hifi operation to English or alter the Radio display to English.

Satellite Navigation Hardware fitted normally exceeds operational reliability of portable units this can be vital in a busy town or city where GPS receiver signals could be poor - rendering the portable user with incorrect guidance information. The use of fast acting gyroscopes helps to ascertain position at junction intersections and roundabouts.
