Enhance your existing Toyota Altezza Japanese Satellite Navigation screen by conversion upgrade to UK English GPS Satellite Navigation with Voice Guidance. The Toyota Altezza's OEM GPS screen is used for full Satellite Navigation display. The UK upgrade involves replacements to the Japanese Satellite Navigation Hardware (not screen), therefore the car's original interior and original HIFI remains the same.

UK Satellite Navigation conversion to your existing full colour GPS Satellite Navigation screen is achieved by fitting new GPS computer hardware located out-of-sight, working in parallel with the exiting Toyota OEM screen and (working) Japanese Navigation unit. UK Satellite Navigation conversions to Japanese Imports (JDM) do not modify existing Hifi operation to English or alter the Radio display to English use.

Satellite Navigation Hardware fitted normally exceeds operational reliability of portable units due to the use of vehicle speed sensing to 'marry up' mapping display when in built-up areas or tunnels, this can be vital in a busy town or city where GPS receiver signals could be poor - rendering the portable user with incorrect guidance information. The use of fast acting gyroscopes helps to ascertain position at junction intersections and roundabouts. Auto power-up operation means that the GPS computer can 'lock' the available positioning satellites immediately the ignition is turned-on.
